Biography of Jenny King

Your life is a story to be told long after you are gone, so my motto, make it good and make it count. As an internationally certified business development coach and transformational speaker with the John Maxwell Team, I impart that same message to my clients, whether they are in the corporate sector, entrepreneurial set or perhaps a stay-at-home mom or dad. It is my belief that we were each born with an incredible set of gifts and talents special to us, and we were created to use them to deeply and positively impact our world.

I spent the first 15 years of my professional life in sales, marketing, & business development. Through experience & application I discovered these foundational lessons, which I apply in my own business.

First lead with a servant’s heart, humbly and earnestly. People deserve the best we can give and unless we are serving their needs first we will ultimately be disappointed and the outcome will be significantly less than desired. Zig Ziglar said it best “You can have everything in life you want, if you help others get what they want”.  

Second remember that everything you do is an act of influence, someone is always watching and listening, so I always work to be the same in dark as I am in the light. Abilities can take us there, but it’s our character keeps us there.

Third, be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire. There is no tomorrow, only today, so live with passion, purpose, intention and a deep understanding of why you do what you do.

These certainly aren’t all of the lessons I’ve learned, but perhaps some of the most important. I have been technically and organically trained to help my clients become extraordinary leaders, to continually push past “boundaries” of success and do what others won’t to get the results they desire for themselves and their respective organizations.   Like you I wear many hats, Mother, Wife, Daughter, Friend, Elite Performance Coach, Sales Trainer and Speaker. Each one represents someone in my sphere of influence, so it is my duty to them as the author of my story to always be and give my absolute best. I endeavor to “Live full and die empty” – Les Brown.
